Like the one on the balcony of our 14th floor apartment. Still nothing like scallions fourteen floors up fresh. He might have suggestions. His name is Rustin H. Wright. He can be contacted at streetcarpress.com, he is also on facebook.

Slugs sadly, love beer. Yep, here in Wisconsin, we do more with beer than man was meant to know. Anyway, leave the slugs some beer in a disposable pie tin and they die partying with their friends.

Daffodils! Nothing says spring like daffodils. And lilacs are cool, and raspberries, but you got to watch them. Dangerous fruit the raspberry.

And speaking as a white dude, you really got to stop bragging about moving 16 metric tons of earth by yourself. First off some of us get what kind of mass that is, and that it is a mass not a weight, so really hats off, that's a whole lot a dirt. *shakes head* Still, keep it up and all the work will be undone. I mean dude:

STICK WITH THE PLAN!

Otherwise at that moment of *insert appropriate gestures* "Striking with the white hot fury of 1000 Ninja warriors, riding on Samurai, wrapped in Shaolin monks!" will be for naught against the white hot fusion guns of our mighty United States Imperial Atomic Robot Army. :p

Nice work, looks lovely and the pic with the squash is priceless.

Take care, and thanks again.Craig A. I've always wanted to put in a small one for lotus...
If you ever want more garden space, you can squeeze out a few extra square feet with a garden table on the cement. We built one in my garden and it's great for herbs and baby greens, like arugula or spinach. It's also fairly easy on the back. ;-)
Everyone seems to be suffering from an overabundance of tomatoes this year. They can be frozen whole in bags for storage, or you can go the route of making sauces or gazpacho. Everyone finds their favorite way to deal with the bumper crop eventually.
Also, glad to hear you don't fear using edible flowers. Chive blossoms are my favorite to use. They have a very delicate, but distinct, onion flavor. Plus they look beautiful on a dish. Squash blossoms are great as well.
And I have clearly made this comment too long. Garden-talk will do that.
Happy gardening!Chef Zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05701262804325663738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5414480356035241986.post-59835589490703635922009-08-12T01:15:30.288-04:002009-08-12T01:15:30.288-04:00Looks absolutely great :) Nice to see that that mu...Looks absolutely great :) Nice to see that that much hard work paid off :)SanAydahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08931175844667153992noreply@blogger.com
