Oscars Train Wreck: Hugh Jackman Hosting.

Don't get me wrong, I like Hugh Jackman, but he's going to be doing musical dance numbers. Did no one tell the Academy that the Tony Awards already exist, and that no one watches them?

He's doing a Fred Astaire number. Are you, in fact, Fred Astaire? Are you Frank Sinatra? What, they're dead? THEN STOP.

I think this is the worst idea since the "Follow the Hollywood Stars" opening number that led to them having Billy Crystal host two decades ago.

Oh, you don't remember it? I do. I saw it live. Oh magical YouTube... show me... TRIPE!

Interviewed by Fans of Rubber Lizard Suits

I was interviewed a little while back for a website called SciFiJapan.com and it's now up on their site. My Godzilla video, Up From the Depths, is apparently what caught their attention initially.

Read the interview HERE.

The screenshots they pulled of me are hilarious. To me, anyway.

And if you haven't seen it, here's the video:

Obama Walks the Walk

So Tom Daschle and Nancy Killefer both withdrew from the cabinet nomination process after it came to light that they had failed to pay taxes. That's fine.

But what's AWESOME here is that Obama went on prime time news and took responsibility for the vetting oversight!
“I’m here on television saying I screwed up,” the president told Mr. Williams. The important thing, the president went on, is not trying to be free of mistakes but “it’s owning up to them and trying to make sure you never repeat them.”
It's so nice having a grown-up as President.
